DuoGrip Gripper

The VersaBuilt DuoGrip Gripper is optimized for CNC lathe applications. The DuoGrip Gripper can quickly be configured to pick pipes or pucks. Featuring dual, opposing centering grippers, the DuoGrip Gripper makes machine tending more efficient by providing the ability to unload a completed part and load a new part without exiting the machine. The high gripping force allows the DuoGrip Gripper to reliably pick parts up to 22 pounds (10kg).
For puck picking, the DuoGrip Gripper supports puck diameters from 1/2″ (12mm) to 8″ (200mm). four points of contact using socket head cap screws ensure a secure hold on the material and minimum interference with lathe chuck jaws. Plastic socket head cap screws are provided for gripping a finished part surface without marring. For pipe picking, the DuoGrip Gripper accommodates pipe sizes from 1/4″ (6mm) to 3″ (75mm). 3D printed gripper fingers can easily be adapted to the DuoGrip gripper to process parts of almost any shape. The DuoGrip Gripper supports both ID and OD clamping.
Although optimized for CNC Lathe machine tending, the DuoGrip Gripper can also be used in any machine tending application.
